In Cambridge's Inman Square
June 21, 2013 Summer Solstice Celebration with Siri Bani Kaur
July 14, 2013 Kundalini Yoga with Live Music, Chanting & Gong Relaxation
I’ve only been here once so far, but they had a cool Valentine’s day special class with live accompaniment and an emphasis on opening the heart chakra. I really enjoyed the meditation and spiritual side of the class, especially because some of the exercises kicked my ass and if there hadn’t been lower-key portions I don’t know if I could have survived the 1.5 hours. This studio will really challenge you in new ways! $25 for two weeks of unlimited yoga seems quite reasonable to me.
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. It’s filled with meditation, deep breathing exercises, yoga postures, and singing. I highly recommend this type of yoga! Enjoy a cup of yogi tea at the end!
A BLISSFUL SWEEPING OF SOLACE WITH SELF is what Cindy (Siri Bani) and staff at Kundalini Yoga Boston provide at each session. No session is ever the same, the price is better than right, and my post-session illumination is like nothing I’ve experienced at other yoga studios in the Boston area. If you’ve got one-foot-in-and-one-foot-out about attending a session at KYG, go for it — it’s WORTH IT!!!
“I don’t really know where to begin writing about this studio – everything about it, from the wonderful people who run it and the amazing teachers, to the great atmosphere amongst those taking the classes is just fantastic – I can’t say enough good things about it. I’ve never taken yoga classes with such a friendly group of people”
Doors open 30 minutes before each class. Boutique and Inman Square Gallery are open 30 minutes before and after classes and during classes. Additional gallery hours are by appointment only.
